Getting started
From the project's README ("Install"):
On a rooted TV, add this repository once in Homebrew Channel → Settings → Add Repository:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sh00bx/webos-apps/main/repo.json
webossh then appears in the app list and installs and updates from there. Nothing else to do — the two root helpers it needs travel inside the package and install themselves on first start.
That URL is my app channel: one repository for all of my webOS apps, so adding it once also brings anything else published there.
Risk and recovery
- Brick risk
- Low
- Requires opening the device
- No
