TV app 1.7.0
Radio. A new Radio page (also as a row on the home screen):
- Endless radio from a song, an artist, a genre or your favorites. It tops itself up, plays more like what you listen to the end or give a heart, and less of what you skip. Without Last.fm on the server it stays in the genre.
- Autoplay: when an album or playlist ends, similar songs keep playing (Settings → Playback, can be turned off).
- Radio stations set up on your server (Navidrome: Radio) play live. ⏮ ⏭ switch stations, and "Back to queue" continues where you left off.
Also new
- Crossfade between songs, 3–12 seconds (Settings → Playback, off by default). If your TV can't play two songs at once, it falls back to a normal song change.
- Move songs in the queue: Yellow button or ⋯ on a song → Move, then ▲ ▼ and OK.
- Sleep timer (moon button in the full-screen player): 15–90 minutes or the end of the song, with a gentle fade-out.
- Edit your playlists: rename, delete, remove songs. Adding a song that's already there asks first.
- Volume leveling with the ReplayGain tags of your files, per song or per album.
- Artist pages show your most played songs when the server has no top songs (no Last.fm).
- Addresses without a scheme use https unless they're in the home network.
Fixed
- The on-screen keyboard closed as soon as the Magic Remote pointer passed over a button on its way to it (search and sign-in).
- The screensaver now follows the song that's playing.
- Translations: "1 song" instead of "1 songs", consistent wording in all languages.
Install the .ipk below as before (see the README). Your login and settings stay.

Getting started
From the project's README ("Installing"):
Grab the .ipk from the latest release.
Rooted TV with the Homebrew Channel – the easiest way is the deploy script, which uploads the package over the root telnet shell, installs it and starts the app:
python3 tv/tools/deploy.py 192.168.x.x # your TV's IP
With SSH enabled you can also do it by hand:
scp tonalo.ipk root@<tv-ip>:/tmp/tonalo.ipk ssh root@<tv-ip> "luna-send-pub -i 'luna://com.webos.appInstallService/dev/install' '{"id":"tonalo","ipkUrl":"/tmp/tonalo.ipk","subscribe":true}'"
TV in Developer Mode – install the package with webOS Dev Manager or ares-install. Keep in mind that Developer Mode expires unless you extend the session, and the TV removes the app when it does.
On first start, enter your server address (for example http://192.168.1.10:4533), user name and password. The password itself isn't stored, only the salted token the Subsonic API uses.
Tested on an LG OLED65CX with webOS 5.6. Anything from webOS 5 up should be fine; older versions are untested.
