Fixes black or blank screens on older LG TVs and makes adding a source work with the remote. Thanks to everyone who tested the preview builds in #1.
Fixes
- Black/blank screen and cropped panels on webOS 5 and 6: the app is now built as a classic script and uses LG's standard 1920x1080 app resolution instead of 3840x2160.
- Source input with the remote (no mouse needed):
- Up/Down moves between Name / M3U URL / EPG URL / Save.
- OK opens the on-screen keyboard for the selected field.
- Enter on the on-screen keyboard closes it and moves to the next field.
- Back finishes typing and keeps the text.
- EPG URL is optional. On Save, press OK to save the source.
- Startup diagnostics: if the app cannot start, an error message is shown on screen instead of a black screen.
Tested on real TVs
- LG QNED919PA (webOS 6)
- LG OLED65CX3LA (webOS 5)
- LG OLED C1 and GX
- LG OLED C3 (webOS 25)
On 4K TVs, menus are now drawn at 1920x1080 and scaled up by the TV. Video is shown on the TV's separate video plane, so it is not limited to 1080p.
