Getting started
From the project's README ("First steps"):
- Power on. Generator 1 is chosen; each generator already has a sound and a lane of effects.
- Play white keys. Press FX, SEL or ENV to hear the other generators.
- Press HOME until a generator sounds right to you. SHIFT + HOME keeps its family and tries again.
- Hold a key and press SHIFT to latch it. Latch notes on two or three generators to build a texture.
- Turn KNOB 2 for more or less effect, KNOB 1 to disintegrate, KNOB 3 and KNOB 4 for delay and reverb.
- Press SAVE, hold a white key 0.8 s: the whole machine is stored in that snapshot. Make a few, set a morph time with KNOB 1 and move between them.
- Hold SAVE (outside the SNAPSHOTS page) to keep everything in the FM-1's flash as a session.
