From the project's README ("Install"):
Add directjump-dt-1.0-os1.54.elemod in the elekloader app together with core, build, and send the firmware to the Digitakt. From the command line:
python -m elekloader.patch --stock DigitaktOS1.54.syx
--mod core-4.1-os1.54.elemod --mod directjump-dt-1.0-os1.54.elemod --out Digitaktdirectjump.syxIt combines with the rest: checked linked with core 4.1, machine-pages 1.3, PUMP-DT 1.3, DH-101 0.25, Digi Mono 0.24, digihealth 1.0.1, LØST LVLS 1.0, seq-events 0.1 and DIGISNAKE-DT 0.3.

For the Elektron Digitakt mk1, OS 1.54. The Digitone mk1 version is a separate mod in its own repository (Digitone-directjump); the two are not interchangeable.
An elekloader mod (id directjump-dt). Two SETTINGS rows decide what picking a pattern does while the sequencer plays:
- DIRECT JUMP: the pattern takes over on the next step, legato, carrying on from the same place in the bar.
- START ON BAR: the pattern starts from its first step on the next bar line, perfectly in time. Press the key of the pattern that's playing to relaunch it from its first step on the next beat, as an Erica Synths Perkons does.
